Statistics indicate that a child is told the word no more than 200 times a day.  When I first read this, I questioned myself in relation to my own children:  How often do I tell them “Yes it can be done!”  How frequently do I encourage by saying “Yes it is possible!”  When do I challenge them to Dream…to Dream Big?   

With these thoughts in mind, I am challenged to empower people from ALL walks of life with a simple yet powerful truth – “You CAN Achieve Greatness!”  Unfortunately far too many people are stagnant in their lives because they’ve only been told what they cannot do.  My mission is to sound the alarm…

YES YOU CAN!

I have a special place in my heart for our youth.  They are far more significant than too many of them realize.  They are our legacy…our future leaders, presidents, physicians, clergy, activist, mothers and fathers.  What influences them today will determine how effective they will be tomorrow.

With this vision, we are celebrating our Second Annual "Inspired To Dream" Month in June.  The celebration is open to all youth and is jammed packed with many educational and motivational opportunities.  Furthermore, because 2008 is a landmark election year for our nation, we have decided to culminate this powerful dream experience with a trip to Washington, DC.   Our youth will be reminded of the importance of having the right to vote; they will also learn about the struggles of our nation and how countless numbers of persons fought for the freedoms we realize on a daily basis.

I pray you catch the vision too, and...Inspire To Dream!
